I’m interested in ancient history, ancient technologies, ancient civilisations and, well, ancient anything really. That’s why I follow a rather wonderful blog called Stonehenge Neolithic Houses.
The blog is chronicling the building of a group of late Neolithic dwellings outside the new visitor centre at the world’s most famous prehistoric monument: Stonehenge. The houses – constructed using local materials and ancient techniques – are the work of the Ancient Technology Centre, supported by English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
To see how they’re getting on (rather well, as it turns out), head over to Stonehenge Neolithic Houses now.
That looks really cool. Wrong side of the ocean for an easy visit, though!
