“Do you swear to do all in your power to see that the world to whose skin we cling will now and forever turn true?”
Long ago, the citadel of Bloodrock fell. Now the dragons of Bloodrock are scattered across the desert and the mysteries of the past have been forgotten. But nothing lies hidden forever.
When cruel Viscero brings terror to the land, Abalone — the last member of a knightly order known as the Peregrines — vows to bring the ruthless dragon to justice. To do this, he must first unravel the secret history of Bloodrock.
As past and present overlap, Abalone and his new-found companions embark on an extraordinary journey in which every choice they make could affect the future of the entire dragon world.
The Dragons of Bloodrock is set in a mythical prehistory before humans walked the Earth, when dragons ruled the skies. If you’ve read the international bestseller Dragoncharm, you’ll already be familiar with this world. If you haven’t, fear not. Set some fifty years before Graham Edwards’ previous dragon novels, The Dragons of Bloodrock is in many ways the perfect place to begin your journey …

Excellent news to see that the book was finally released. When I had recently tried to find excerpt from it, published back in 2011 I believe, and found that it was hidden/removed I was afraid that it got shelved entirely.
Glad that You proved me wrong.
Thanks! It’s been a long time coming, I know, but I’m delighted to be launching “The Dragons of Bloodrock” this week. I hope you enjoy it.
I just finished it. It was great. Is there more coming or is it standalone?:)
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and, yes, I do plan to write more books in the “Peregrine Cycle” series. We want to know what happens next, right?
A fantastic book! I’ve just finished it. Was so happy to see you released a new book about dragons. I still can’t find many authors that match the quality of your dragon books. Can’t wait to read more.
Thank you for reading, and thanks for the kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed the book.
I just finished the Stone trilogy, and curious to read further your notes on the series. I had NO idea this new book had been released and I am so glad I decided to look on your site! I adored the Ultimate Dragon Saga and Stone trilogy, and I am thrilled to read a new series featuring your dragon characters. Thank you so much for this.
Thanks for your message, Elaina, and thanks for reading. As you’ve no doubt realised, there are connections between all the books, to a greater or lesser degree. I hope you enjoy the new one 🙂
Having read your initial trilogy shortly after publication, I was happy to stumble over not only a new edition of Dragoncharm and then thrilled to discover an entirely new book. I ordered both immediately.
I’ve bought multiple copies of all the Dragon and Stone series books over the years but some of them are unfortunately showing their age. Are there any plans to re-release your other older books in any form?
Thanks so much for ordering the new books. I hope you enjoy them. I do hope to republish those earlier books as special editions in the future, just as I did with “Dragoncharm.” But that’s very much a long-term project, so it won’t happen for a while.
There’s nothing I like better than a well-worn paperback, by the way. It shows the book is loved!
