Ghostwriter Diaries 05

NotebookTalk about a good way to end the week. I just learned that I won the competitive pitch to ghostwrite a new trilogy of fantasy novels. Having submitted my three-chapter sample only four days ago, I thought I might have to wait a little longer before being told the outcome. I guess I must have done something right!

The next step is to roll up my sleeves and write the rest of the first book. But I don’t have to worry about that just yet. A number of cogs in the publishing machine have to mesh correctly before that process starts. So, for now at least, I can afford to kick back, relax, and build up the head of steam I’ll undoubtedly need to meet the deadline once the project properly goes live.
